Week 6

This is definitely turning into a season of the have’s and have-not’s. Two teams have scored over 800 points for the season. Another two have scored over 700, but the rest of the league is barely pushing the 600 mark. In more important news, Ryan is leading the way with 25 waiver moves, with Gene close behind at 21. There’s no ring for making moves guys, just for winning.

Jedi Knights (192.50) vs Brown Stars (136.50)
Good god! The Jedis explode for a record setting 192.50 points behind Tom Brady’s 37 points and Adrian Peterson’s 40.5. In a normal week, the contributions of WRs Braylon Edwards (26.5) and Kevin Curtis (20.5) would have been impressive but they were just icing on the cake for Chris this week. Galvez put up a good fight but only Matt Hasselbeck was able to break the twenty point barrier and that’s not going to cut it.

Fobsters (89.00) vs babysrus (76.00)
Listen, Gene, if you were gonna win one this season, this was the week. Jimmy only put up 89 points total, led by Jeff Garcia (17) and Brian Westbrook (18). If you can’t score over 89 points, then you’re in big trouble. I mean, c’mon! This is embarrassing. Sure, all of your best players were on bye, but still. You know, for my other keeper league, Jimmy went 0-13 last season. Are you headed in the same direction?

Nacho Libre’s (163.00) vs Dirty Birds (84.50)
With beat downs being the theme of the week, Hong took out all his repressed anger by almost doubling Jon’s score this week. First overall pick LDT finally notched a huge game (45.5) and with a matching breakout game by Maurice Jones-Drew (31 pts), the Nacho’s got their second win of the season. The Dirty Birds only had TJ Houshmandzadeh show up on Sunday (30 pts) but he wasn’t capable of dragging his team anywhere near a win.

Old English (136.00) vs RazoRamon (92.00)
Even as Tony Romo cools off, Eric’s other QB, Derek Anderson heats up (31 pts). Is there no stopping the English invasion? They tacked up 136 points with Peyton on the bench! Eric has scored more than anybody else in the league, he’s on a four game win streak, he’s like the Adrian Peterson of our league. Ryan tried to win a round of golf but his team fell apart due lack of a passing game. Daunte Culpepper, Randy Moss, Jason Witten, and Santana Moss combined for only 26 points.

Next week: Gaga turns into Nancy ____.
